hostess notes
1. Please leave the house in the same shape as it was found upon arrival.
2. Kitchen:
a. Please be sure the sink is empty of dishes, food/waste and dishwasher is run before leaving.
b. Please be sure to check the stove to make sure oven is turned off.
c. Please do not pour any liquids directly into the garbage can/bag.
d. Please do your best to put all items back where they came from.
3. Living Room:
a. We prefer that the furniture not be moved, but if done, please put pieces back from where they were moved.
b. The fire screen must be in place at all times.
c. The fire burns best and with less smoke when logs are placed as far back as possible.
d. Do not go to bed or leave the house with the fire burning really hot and unattended.
e. NO FIRES are to be made in any other fireplaces in the house(library & master bedrooms are not usable).
4. Bedrooms:
a. Please hang up wet towels and open the shower curtain to prevent mildew.
b. Please make sure all cups and food are brought to the kitchen before leaving.
c. You do not need to strip your beds before departure.
staples
These basic staples are available in the Lodge kitchen for your use and convenience. If you use the last box / container / bottle of any staple, please write it on the grocery list mounted between the stove & sink for re-stocking. There are extra staples found in the pantry by the back door.

basic first aid items, Elmer's Glue, "Off" Insect Spray, Matches, Band-Aids, Cleaning Supplies.
Please recycle! Completely empty bottles before placing in bins. No need to separate materials. #1 and #2 plastics, glass bottles, soda cans, magazines, newspapers, and corrugated cardboard are accepted.
